How do I make an old program work on Windows Vista home premium?
I’m trying to install a game (Worms Armageddon) on Vista home premium and it’s not working, but it works on my Windows 98 PC. I’ve tried the compatibility wizard.
When I try to install it a message box pops up saying: error number: -106 refer to the online help
It worked after downloading various updates and patches.
1. Right click Properties.
2. Compatibility Tab
3. Check the box “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”
4. Choose Windows 98
I don’t know why it’s not compatible. If the system is newer than the one required, it usually should work. How is it not working? A message on startup or a crash?
