Armageddon Wedding Scene

Weddings As Tribute
Earlier this year, there was a story of a couple that got married at the funeral of their son. He had passed away from cancer, and one of his final wishes is that he wanted his parents to get married. It garnered a lot of attention nationally as some people thought it was a fitting tribute, while others thought having the wedding during the funeral was taking away the memory from the child.
Obviously there’s a fine line in taste between deciding whether having a tribute to someone else at one’s wedding is a good thing or not. I’m reminded of the movie Armageddon, where the pictures of the movie’s heroes who had died while trying to save the earth were on prominent display during the wedding scene. That’s something which isn’t all that common, although it does happen from time to time. If the wedding has already been planned and something tragic happens within a relatively short time period of the wedding, couples have been known to have pictures of that person prominently displayed at the wedding as a tribute to their memory from the couple.
All one needs to do is look at the Mexican holiday known as Day Of The Dead to see that, at least in some cultures, having weddings while giving tribute to family members who have passed away isn’t all that far fetched. The holiday is to offer up tribute to the memory of those family members, and even though it’s near Christmas, many couples love to plan on getting married on that day. The toppers on their wedding cakes might even have the zombies on top, which to most Americans would be shocking, but that’s the symbol for the holiday in Mexico.
For American weddings, there are some traditions that have been established where couples can pay tribute to family and friends that are no longer with us. We’ve already talked about the pictures. There are candle lighting ceremonies that many churches encourage, while asking the people in the congregation for a moment of silence. Sometimes, there’s even a seat of honor, usually decorated and marked off as the spot where it would have been hoped that person would sit during the ceremony. Some couples even have the tribute built into the ceremony during the presentation of readings that happen in some weddings.
Overall, giving tribute to family members who are no longer with us can be a touching part of a wedding ceremony, as other family members will also be there to add to the memories.

ARMAGEDDON (final) Aerosmith – I Dont Want To Miss A Thing
We who populate this planet have been on a continual quest to understand the future by studying the past. There have been significant events in Earths history that seem to point to a definite and well-defined outcome in the future…..well-defined maybe to those who can “see” future Predictions. For the rest of us who lack End Of The World Prophecy vision, there are numerous sources of information to help us understand (and hopefully avoid the dangers of) End Of The World Predictions of worldwide catastrophe.
