Super Science Fiction novel?
I read a book called Off Armageddon Reef, it is the first part of a series of novels, pretty much about life on a colony that was formed without giving the citizens any technology, just a crazy religion.
Anyways I thought it was real cool, but I was wondering if anyone ever wrote a science fiction novel about life in like 1,000,000 years.
I already know a couple books that include alien races that have been around for a few million years, but they usually take place in like the year 2100, I think it would be real interesting to read about the year 2,100,000
I know it sounds crazy, but somebody had to do it.
Neal Asher’s books are very far future. I don’t think they ever say how far in the future but earth is never mentioned and there are thousands of colony planets and several alien races.
Here is The Skinner:

I highly recommend it.
Peter F. Hamilton also writes in the far future. The Reality Dysfunction is one of my favorites. It deals entirely with Human cultures.

Iain Banks is also a good author for you. Use of Weapons is a good place to start with his books.

Android Last Hope for Humanity (Off Armageddon Reef)
We who populate this planet have been on a continual quest to understand the future by studying the past. There have been significant events in Earths history that seem to point to a definite and well-defined outcome in the future…..well-defined maybe to those who can “see” future Predictions. For the rest of us who lack End Of The World Prophecy vision, there are numerous sources of information to help us understand (and hopefully avoid the dangers of) End Of The World Predictions of worldwide catastrophe. I have a product review here:2012 End Of The World Predictions
