How to get PVE gear in WoW when everyone checks armory?
Ok so I have a fully decked out lvl 80 Draenei Death Knight on my buddies server, talking all 5 pieces Valorous, Armageddon, ect ect. But the only reason he’s decked out is because my buddy is one of the main leaders of that guild so I got in the guild no sweat. I leveled a Tauren Fury Warrior to lvl 80 now on a different server with nobody I know on it, because I was tired of playing Alliance and playing on a non-PVP server. But it seems nobody wants to invite me because I’m not decked out in awesome gear. How the hell am I supposed to get invites to groups to better my gear, if nobody wants to invite me because I dont have awesome gear?
Fyi all my gear is blue and purple (mostly blues), the only greens I have on me are my 2 trinkets.
Not seeming to have much luck with that Looking For Group thing either.
If you only seem to find people who are really picky about gear (which is odd, since you are dps, not a tank) then your best bet is doing it the long and hard way.
Lay out a plan for each item of gear.
Start in heroics. Gather gear to progressively replace each slot.
When you are completely geared out in heroics, move on to 10 mans.
Another option is to find a guild that is very well geared and piggy back with them.
Not a lot of guilds look for melee dps nowadays, since melee dps is the most common form of dps, but you still have a chance.
