Armageddon: The Album $6.10 There was a time when Aerosmith was a great rock band. Then, just a few years before vocalist Steven Tyler’s daughter, Liv Tyler, grew up and became a movie star, they transformed into one of the premier purveyors of power ballads–songs, in essence, that are as vapid as the big summer blow-’em-up movies, like, oh, say, Armageddon. In which Liv Tyler stars. Convenient, no? The soundtrack, which in… |

Framing Armageddon (Something Wicked Pt. I) $5.71 Jon Schaffer and friends tackle the Something Wicked story once again on a collection that feels more like a symphony than a traditional rock album. The symphonic element reveals itself through sonic vignettes such as “Overture,” “Reflections,” and “Execution,” each one serving as a bridge in an intriguing if occasionally nebulous storyline. In its way, the album favors atmosphere over solid songw… |

Are We Living In The End Times? (Book Review)
Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins’ book Are We Living in the End Times? directly confronts current world events and comments on biblical prophecies made thousands of years ago that clearly mirror many of the events of our time. Written in layman’s terms, with a flowing style and chronology, this is a book interested readers can burn through in a couple of hours. Breaking down the events of The Great Tribulation, the book reads like the non-fiction version of the authors’ popular fiction series, Left Behind.
The book is divided into three parts: context, events, and personalities. The opening chapters explore the context of current events in relation to biblical prophecy, while providing a background on the unfailing accuracy of the Old and New Testament prophets and their Predictions. The second part of the book catalogues the many events of the Tribulation, starting with the coalition of invading forces that set themselves against Israel (Gog and his hordes) as well as the Rapture, while ending with the last rebellion against God and the subsequent Glorious Appearing of Christ. The third and final part of the book analyzes the personalities of the age – Satan, the Antichrist, the False Prophet, the Two Witnesses, and the Tribulation Saints and Martyrs.
Every student of end-times bible prophecy, whether a novice or the most seasoned of scholars, will find some merit in reading this book. Exciting and informative, it will open your eyes to the realities confronting our generation and present new and innovative ways of viewing God and the world in which we live. If seeing Israel in the news night after night has peaked your interest, read this book and learn more about why such events are not mere coincidence, but rather part of a divine plan that been unfolding for thousands of years.

How much do you believe in what the Bible has to say, especially Revelations, and Armageddon?
I don’t know, I was raised Catholic, I’ve read books conserning the end times, but I just don’t know.
All of it. Just do not allow men’s teachings or doctrines to enter into it to cloud the meanings. Let the Bible explain itself.
For instance, beasts with several heads and horns in Revelations. What are they? Daniel ch. 7 explains similar beasts are governments, kingdoms, rulers on the earth. They are not individuals from the newspaper headlines some people dream up.
Revelations tells us exactly how we get from the wicked corrupt system we have at present, to the restored paradise God’s original purpose for humans and the earth in Genesis 1:28. “Further, God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.” People living in perfect health in a paradise.
A whole lot of change has to occur. Revelations 17 shows the nations will destroy all false religion for one. Just having a religion without thought of what God expects in worship will not help any caught inside Babylon the Great when it is destroyed completely. 17:17 shows it is God who puts it into their minds to do this. So much for “it doesn’t matter which religion one chooses.”
Ch.18 goes into announcing for people to get out of Babylon the Great and where to go for safety.
Ch. 20 gets to the great parts. Satan and his entire organization is either killed or imprisoned for a 1,000 years. Time for humankind and the planet to return to perfection without interference. Finally, Satan is let loose for a short time to mislead any who choose to just like Adam & Eve. Then he and death itself are destroyed forever. 20:14 explains something important. “And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.” Note the last sentence. Not a place of torture but death where there is no return.
21 and 22 show all the wonderful things we will enjoy after that time. Lives counted in centuries, not years. What joys and privileges will await us? We imperfect people can’t imagine.
David Weber talks about his book, Off Armageddon Reef
We who populate this planet have been on a continual quest to understand the future by studying the past. There have been significant events in Earths history that seem to point to a definite and well-defined outcome in the future…..well-defined maybe to those who can “see” future Predictions. For the rest of us who lack End Of The World Prophecy vision, there are numerous sources of information to help us understand (and hopefully avoid the dangers of) End Of The World Predictions of worldwide catastrophe. I have a product review here:2012 End Of The World Predictions
