4 Bald Celebrities Who Look Awfully Good
Many patients of alopecia, commonly known as hair loss, often wish that they could just get over their condition and live normal lives with a full head of hair. Women, most especially, are highly disturbed when they find out that they have been diagnosed with this condition. There are a lot of available treatments in the market (some are expensive while some may come in cheap) yet most of them just bring more depression to the patient especially when it is ineffective.
Perhaps it would be comforting to know that even celebrities can suffer from hair loss. There are some celebrities that simply choose to go bald and flaunt it rather than go worrying and going through numerous treatments.
1. Baldness and Refereeing
Pierluigi Collina is an Italian football referee. At present, he still works as a non-paid consultant to the AIA or Italian Football Referees Association. He is a highly-respected referee all over the world and people have fondly called him Kojak due to his baldness. It was in the 80’s that Collina contracted a severe form of alopecia resulting to loss of facial and scalp hair.
2. Bald Swimmer
Duncan Goodhew is a famous athlete and is now also a motivational speaker. Goodhew is a swimming sport legend who has won a gold and bronze medal in the 1980 Olympics held in Moscow. He is bald not because he chose it to become good at his profession but because he contracted alopecia universalis (or total hair loss). Due to this condition, he has an advantage (due to hydrodynamics) when swimming.
3. Bald and On TV!
Gail Porter-is a famous television presenter in the UK. She married Dan Hipgrave, a guitarist of Toploader in 2001 and this union broke in the summer of 2004. The separation caused Porter to become depressed and to resort into drugs. Her condition soon worsened as stress, drug use and post-natal depression all collaborated to trigger alopecia areata.
She soon became an advocate on educating people about this condition. Even with her baldness, she refused to wear wigs. However, it is believed that her hair loss is not permanent and Porter did confirm that she might grow her hair back.
4. Actors Succumbing to Hair Loss
Patrick Stewart-best known for his role in Star Trek, is a multi-awarded actor (both on film and stage). Stewart has never been ashamed of his baldness, in fact, he was even included on the list of Sexiest Man on Television on the 1992 TV Guide.
Bruce Willis who wouldn’t be able to recognize this hot and sexy action star? He starred in many unforgettable films such as Armageddon, Pulp Fiction, Sin City, The Sixth Sense and the Die Hard series. His hair noticeably receded in the late 90’s. He eventually shaved the rest of it and started a trend among white males as did Michael Jordan among the African-Americans.
Celebrity or not, people can be afflicted with hair loss but this does not deter some to live their lives to the fullest. If you can, make the most out of baldness by being cool and shaving it all off.

WWE – Does anybody know why HHH wins the big main events against HBK and Stone Cold Steve Austin?
If you watch behind the scenes interviews, WWF/WWE superstars talk about their matches and how everything was planned leading up to the matches. Like who would win and why regarding the story.
Stone Cold Steve Austin, HBK and HHH was amoung the most popular WWF/WWE superstars, right?
1. Why does HHH win more big main event matches against HBK, Stone Cold?
I have nothing against HHH i think his a great wrestler and performer (heel and face). If you look at the Stone Cold vs. The Rock rivary both have pretty much closer win/loose ratio. The same as other rivaries Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar or HBK vs. Kurt Angle.
For example:
- HHH vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin: No Holds Barred “No Mercy” October, 17th, 1999 – HHH wins
- HHH vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin: Three Stages of Hell “No Way Out” Feb, 25, 2001 – HHH wins
- HHH vs. HBK: 2 out of 3 falls
“Armageddon” Dec, 15, 2002 – HHH wins
- HHH vs. HBK: Hell in a Cell “Bad Blood” July 13, 2004 – HHH wins
You’re fogetting that Shawn Michaels, in his first match in more than 4 years, defeated Triple H at Summerslam 2002. Then, he once again defeated Triple H at Survivor Series 2002 to win the World Heavyweight Championship. At Royal Rumble 2004, HBK and Triple H wrestled to a draw in a Last Man Standing Match. So, in that feud, the two were essentially even in victories.
1999 was Triple H’s first big push as a main eventer. That was also the same time that Austin started to have neck issues and had surgery to repair it less than a month after their match at No Mercy. Austin missed most of 2000 after the surgery. The Three Stages of Hell match was a very close match and could have gone either way. It obviously didn’t hurt Austin, as he went on to win the WWF Championship a month later. After Wrestlemania 17, Triple H and Austin formed a tag team until Triple H suffered his first quad injury.
I disagree with you about the Triple H vs. HBK feud because they both won 2 matches in that feud, had 1 draw, and twice lost triple threat matches to Chris Benoit. However, Triple H and Austin only had 2 big PPV matches against each other. The first was early in Triple H’s first world title push and 1 month before Austin had serious neck surgery. The second was a very close, hard fought match that helped both wrestlers. Austin still went on to win in the main event of WM a month after it, and it made Triple H even more of a legitimate main eventer.
Armageddon 2001 Nerf War
We who populate this planet have been on a continual quest to understand the future by studying the past. There have been significant events in Earths history that seem to point to a definite and well-defined outcome in the future…..well-defined maybe to those who can “see” future Predictions. For the rest of us who lack End Of The World Prophecy vision, there are numerous sources of information to help us understand (and hopefully avoid the dangers of) End Of The World Predictions of worldwide catastrophe. I have a product review here:2012 End Of The World Predictions
