The writings of Nostradamus?
Was his prediction of 9/11 just a coincidence?:
Garden of the world near to the new city,
In the road of hollow mountains,
It will be seized and run into the tank,
Forced to drink water poisoned with sulphur.
And now I ask: Do you believe the writings of Nostradamus? Or do you believe it’s just a big hoax?
Every major event in world history is referred to Nostradamus’ quatrains, to the Biblical prophecies, to the Mayan calendar, etc etc. Nothing is simpler than reading today’s headlines into ancient, vaguely worded auguries. It’s exactly the same sort of process that finds the Virgin Mary in tortillas and grease spots.

We who populate this planet have been on a continual quest to understand the future by studying the past.
